SELT exams are Home Office approved exams, mapped to the CEFR, for UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) worldwide, covering all visa type requirements. We offer 2-skills (Speaking & Listening) and 4-skills (Listening, Reading, Writing & Speaking) SELT exams, depending on visa type. Candidates taking a 4-skills SELT exam can sit the Written (Listening, Reading, Writing) and Spoken (Speaking) components separately as long as they are taken within 14 days of each other.
All LanguageCert SELT exams must be taken at approved SELT Centres.

SELT Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking

- The written part (Listening, Reading & Writing) is computer based and lasts approximately 3 hours (depending on the exam level)
 
- The Speaking part is an online interview with a live interlocutor and lasts up to 15 minutes (depending on the exam level)
 
- Official results available in just 5 working days

SELT Speaking & Listening

- Consists of 4 parts and lasts from 8 to 13 minutes (depending on the exam level)
